At the servo, Gerry and Jennifer, Steve, Paul T and Jenson, Kim and Lynn and Markus met up then headed for Nannup. Later that night Tony and Christine, Jef-frey V and Elliot, Wayne and Ruby arrived along with Paul. Ross turned up with his children along with their friends. The next day Charm and Jeffrey arrived. A camp fire was had with quite wet wood.

On the Saturday Tony led most of the attendees to the tracks he knows well in amongst the pine plantations of Lewana, starting with a hill climb to enjoy the scenic views over the area with a rainbow to top off the pic-ture. Soon we found some mud to slip and slide around in. A river crossing was en-joyed with water flying about and another water crossing. A slippery muddy incline was next with those with 4wd tyres tackling it while avoid-ing a large whole in the hill. A fun day was had by all.

Back to camp to prepare for the bonfire. “Blowerman” (Paul) got the fire roaring with his leaf blower much to the delight of all the children, who called out as he was heading home the next day, “bye bye Blowerman”. The fire burnt down by about 10:00pm which turned out perfectly for those who were weary and it was becoming quite cold.

Overnight the temperature got down to minus three so we awoke to sheets of ice on our wind-screens. Some fire wood was collected Sunday morning for the next lot of people who would be attending the property.
Thank you to Gerry and Jennifer for the use of their lovely property.
